Possible Relapse

Quick update:- ( I did not have a seizure and won't be having another LP, not at the moment anyway).

I had a spell of increased symptoms and new symptoms, although mostly very mild it was noticeable for a few weeks. Sensory symptoms such as twitching and spasms, all over but spasms mainly in calves twitching in eyes. Fuzzy tingly sensations, I had pain in joints and fore arms and legs. like an intermittent slow electric shock. I am rubbish at explaining symptoms so that's the best way I can describe it. I also experienced loss of feeling in my left leg but it was brief.

The reason I ended up calling the MS nurse was because as I was experiencing these symptoms my lower back went (very painful), along with my right leg with the funny electric shock pain, this gave me a limp for a few days. I was several times mildly incontinent and have not had this problem before, apart from with the fainting of course.

I went to the relapse clinic. My neuro said it was not typical of a relapse but could be. I had an MRI done again so am now just waiting for the results of that to see if there has been any change.

Apart from the spasms these mild symptoms cleared up pretty fast. The back pain came and went a few times but I'm not sure that it was even related. The leg pain has not come back. Strangely I seem to have had no problems with my spine, not even tingling, which was my initial symptom and has been with me most days for several years. Good news for my viola playing because I have not been suffering after a few hours of playing like I previously did. Hope it stays this way.
