NO MORE MAKING EXCUSES .. my health comes first!  Emotionally I talked with a friend who gave me a slight "kick" to "do it today and get going" ...

Last week, another caring MH friend told me to "do it today!"

So, I called my daughter and walked out the door to the school track while talking on the phone.  Finally, I was out of the house and on my way.  Walked 2 long blocks to the school and then around the track twice.  I did the exercise stations after the first time around.  Couldn't do all of them .. but did most of them .. and TRIED ALL of them.  

Am going to take a camera and show you each one in the days to come .. so you can implement some of these exercises in your routines!

Bought me a $3.00 top and $5.00 sweatpants on clearance .. my reward.

Feel exhilarated, have more energy, and sweaty .. lolll .. and proud of me.  

PLEASE .. GO DO SOMETHING TODAY!!!

I have THOROUGHLY enjoyed walking.  Its low impact, free, and virtually anyone can do it.  If you look at my exercise tracker, you'll see how many calories I'm burning this way, too.

I try not to "eat" all those extra calories.  I simply note them and stick to my usual eating plan, which is roughly 1400-1700 cals a day.  I'm really not trying to lose much more weight, but I do have some areas of improvement left to tackle!  

I have to be careful to eat *enough*.  You don't want to cut down on your calories too much when you're walking long distances.

Good for you, Ranae!  Get out there as often as you can manage it!

It's good to be reminded that the determination goes a LOOONNNGGGGG way.  Once the determination "takes", voila, we have a new habit!  YAY, US!  You go, girl.  I'm so proud of you!  Keep up the good work!
