I started this last night but for some reason got discouraged due to the length of entry. History in a nut shell. I have been having symptoms since before I knew I had them. Looking back several years I have had weird things happen. Out of the blue vertigo that lasted for over a month. Having migiraines that started in left eye to the point that is like a blinder for the left side or tunnel vision. There was an auto accident in 04 that caused chronic pain along with symptoms like tremors, concentration issues, forgetfullness,Oh yeah severe numbness in hands and feet to just before the knee.(bilateral) It varies as to how numb things feel sometimes it not bad but always a loss of sesation.MRI's have been done. I have a lesion on my c-spine around c-1/c-2 it was 10mm .The back pain was the focus and we were just watching to see what happened with the other. I had a fusion in Sept 06(S1/L5), this was thought to have helped numbess. But recovery went great from chronic pain. My goal was to recover so that I could go back to work as a dental assistant. I walked a lot that was what I was told to do for recover. I notice that when I would get hot I would feel like I was buzzed.(Like i had a couple of drinks) I thought it was just andorphines kicking in. There was other things that happened on and off. I went on vaction for 7 days to White Lake and ended up staying in the bed for 3 days due to I felt a constant I don't know what you would call it drunk feeling is all I can think to describe it. All of this lessened and I gradually got better.(never saw a Dr.)
Current:
Feb 08- Had increase of tremor episodes, tingling in hands/feet and increase in numbness.(this does not go well when your a dental assistant)Also I have this ocipital headache that would get so severe that when I'd breath in it would hurt. I still have it right now but knock on wood I am four days tolerable to it. I went to my GP with a list of things that were wrong(you just know) and he refer'd me to a Neurologist. MRI was done of brain-Normal MRI done of C-Spine- this first report came back normal then when I saw it I showed my Dr where it was she called had them re-read it and the lesion is still there just smaller. Went unnoticed the first time. My Dr. had me do other tests envoke , nerve tests, and I think I have given enough blood to supply a river. Last but not least the LP was done. All test came back NEG. Mind you I have very little faith in some of this due to some foul ups. Delayed in getting results, along with loss test results etc. Oh yeah I just had a MRI of the T-spine too. All neg. They called me with test results and said I have great news. I feel like a Debbie downer because I could only say well ok thank you. Now I guess I just wait. In the mean time my boss all though she is very understanding, she gets nervous to work with me due to tremors and passing sharp instruments don't mix well. In the mean time I am trying to keep a good sense of humor thru it all. I make joke to my co-workers about tremors when I get them they see me and look at me in a pitiful manner that is all I can do is make jokes. So that it is in the edited version. I love life it self I love my family I love my freinds And most of all I Love GOD.
Hope
