painful bumps

I have three bumps, behind my right ear, they've hurt on and off very bad for so far about a week. Right now, they hurt so much i can't even turn my head. The bumps are fairly hard, and in a line.They arn't red, from what i can tell. Does anyone have a clue of what this could be?
