TIRED

Been feeling very "worn out" the past few days. I slept for about ten hours last night, but still felt drained today. Most of the day I laid around in bed.

Since I've heard that this drained, fatigued feeling can occur before a flare up, I'm crossing my fingers that one is not on the horizon. There have been multiple people at work calling off or going home early due to sickness/vomiting, so I do wonder if there is also a bug or virus of some sort circulating. Dr.S, aka superneuro, told me that if I ever felt I was even *possibly* getting a cold I would have to call off rather than put more stress on my immune system than it could take, but I really can't reasonably do that. Besides, I'm trying to conserve my personal and vacation time in case of any sudden need to use it.

Appointment with ms nurse tomorrow. Not sure what I'm expecting out of that. I'll jot down some questions tonight and hopefully they'll actually get answers tomorrow.

I have noticed that since I changed the setting on my injector for my meds, the redness has gone back to a fairly normal size area. One of the nurse specialists for the pharmaceutical company had suggested I decrease the injection length one setting after I told her about the bruising I would sometimes experience. I didn't bruise with the shorter setting, but the redness got pretty crazy....  once it was the size of a softball, another time I tried to measure the area covered by one of the leg injections and it took up about 1x4"! It seemed like the areas just got bigger and bigger, so I decided to see what happened if I went to the longest setting again. So far those ones have been all dime size, nickel size.... that seems much more reasonable to me.

I'm tiring of the heat of summer quite rapidly. Even just last year, I relished the ability to lie outside and soak up the sun.... even on the most humid and overcast, windless days. This year I feel like a vampire, wanting to stay out of it for fear of the horrible way the heat makes me feel. I've never been a huge fan of the winter, as snow and ice seem more a nuisance than anything (despite some artistic merit). I am wondering if now I will consider it a nuisance, but a nice temperature.
