In January of 2007 my husband had blood in his urine and we took him immediately to the hospital.
When we left the hospital we were told that his Kidney had a HUGE tumor in it and it looked very suspecious.
We were also told his blood was VERY abnormal and it appeared to be Hep C but would have to be followed up with a blood doctor.
Long story short, the Kidney is nothing more than a tumor and is benign.
The blood in his urine was due to bladder cancer and now he's been declared cancer free last week. (Thank you Jesus)
The blood work was abnormal during our follow up visits and YES he does have HEP C.
When visiting Greg's (my husbands doctor) we were told that weighing 225 was not good enough odds for his HEP treatment and he would need to loose 25lbs. He has lost 15lbs and is going in very soon to get the treatment started.
I realized how hard it was to find blogs on this topic and how un-user friendly most sites are. I'm excited I found this site and will post every step of the process that I can to help others who have questions like I do right now. :)
