This was my first track training, and it kicked my butt. We started with a mile warm up. Then I was timed for a mile in which I did in 18 minutes. I have to bring to 17 for the marathon in January, I think I can do that!
Next we did a mile of almost running the straights and walking the curves. When doing this with a friend it's easy.
Mental note: Take MP3 player OUT of the car next week!
Last we did a mile to cool down. My friend and I did an extra lap in there too making it 4.25 miles.
I also got in some stretches after the warm up and the cool down. They felt great.
Anyone thinking about getting a fuel belt, even if your just walking, do it! It is SO worth it! If you adjust it right you won't even know it's there.
