I know I have a uterine fybroid, but my gyn doesn't seem too perturbed. I have the heavy bleeding and prolonged periods. I have recently had the Marena inserted and it is definately lighter, but still for sooooo long! My biggest issue is my tummy that has grown considerably. I want to know if it is a possibility that this could be due to the fybroid. Does the fybroid have to be of a certain size? Could this "swelling" occur from above the naval?
