just updating i guess. even though there isn't much to update on lol. i still havent had my OB appointment but that is on tuesday and ill be 10w4d by then. i didnt want to have to wait this long to just finally be seeing a doctor. by my insurance took forever to get me my referral to go off base. (hubbys military) that is the only bad thing. but tricare covers almost everything. they say that they only cover medically necisary ultrasounds so im wondering what that includes. they dont cover the gender one which really ***** because that will be one that is certainly needed!
anyways. i wont even see the actually OB until im atleast 12 weeks. so it will be a while before i go back i'm sure. but i guess thats ok. generally the nurses are nicer ayway and they know just about as much as the doctor. i started a list of questions to ask but got bored with it lmao.
ok so this is what tricare says they cover for ultrasounds.
"Some situations where ultrasounds are medically necessary include, but are not limited to:
estimating gestational age
evaluating fetal growth
evaluating biophysical fetal well-being "
is that normal and how often do they do ultarsounds that are held under these catergories?
