The MRF will hold its Annual Research meeting in a few weeks.  Dozens of scientists will fly in from around the country to share their latest research with their colleagues.

Our scientists are academic superstars who have devoted their careers to answering the most complex scientific questions about myelin repair. Yet most never even met anyone with MS (that is, of course, until they met Scott).

This may seem incredible, but it's actually commonplace.  The world of academic medical research is designed to solve complex biological problems with cells and proteins. Typically it takes years before their work helps a patient. So even though our scientists are moving mountains to help people with MS, they rarely meet the folks who have it.

That's where you come in.

We want you to be the face of MS for our scientists.   Make a video telling them how their work will make a difference in your life.   Be the inspiration for the research they do every day.

We aren't looking for anything flashy or polished.  Just tell our research scientists (in 1:30 minute) why their work is important to you.

This is your chance to be heard by the people that are working hard for you every day.

So, get out your web cam or your digital cameras and video yourself now! What are you waiting for? Make your voice heard!

Fine Print Stuff:

Submit your video to us by email (***@****) or by posting a link to it via the comment section.

Requirements: Upload your video to YouTube, Vimeo, or another online video service and send us a link. The video should be less than 1 minute and 30 seconds.

Deadline: Wednesday, September 2, Thursday, September 3 at 5:00 PM Pacific Time Zone

We will be playing select videos at our Annual Research Meeting in mid-September.

Note: We are also accepting written letters to our scientists. The length should be 250-500 words.

If anyone needs Justine's email that was bleeped out by the auto censor, you can send her a PM.  I hope some of our members will take a minute (and a half) and send a message to these researchers.  They need to hear our voice.

Erin,
That's fine -- we can edit out portions to make it fit. :) Thanks so much!!

You can also just post a link to the video here.
