I have severe pain in buttoks region when set down and associated with numbness in my foot and all kind of pain control cannot mask the pain completely and i cannot sit down ???????????????????
have you seen a physiatrist or orthopedic doctor yet?
sounds like you need a thorough neurological/orthopedic evaluation, INCLUDING MRI'S.
do not settle for simple xrays - they do NOT show anything regarding discs and nerves.
i've had alot of issues with my spine - neck, thoracic and lumbar; bulging and/or herniated discs can cause alot of problems - the list of symptoms is almost endless!
Nerve pain is difficult to control - there have been times I've been on Oxycontin/Oxycodone with doses up to 180 mg! Only surgery helped me, along with the oxycodone and drugs like Lyrica (for nerve pain) and Baclofen or Zanaflex (for spasticity).
It sounds like you have something going on in your spine for sure - what are you other symptoms?
Don't wait to see another doctor - get there fast. The longer you wait, the less chance of the nerves regenerating and "coming back to life".

I have numbness in buttocks and feet, not pain. It is associated with my thoracic spine. You definitely need to get a complete MRI done, not just a lumbar one.
