It would also be great sometime if Lyme Disease could be addressed in a similar way.

Thanks, Dr. Park.  I was looking forward to it.  Ditto to the above message though because I fell asleep and missed the conference. I am struggling with fatigue terribly.

I ended up working late and forgot to register.

Can you help me get a hold of it?

PM me please - I still have you listed in my contacts.

I just read the e-mail so missed the registration.  Can I get a recording?

by Steven Y Park, MD, Sep 16, 2009 09:33AM
Sorry, but due to copyright and production issues with the program, I have to abide by the requirements my publisher/producer has stating that only people who register can get the recording.

You can also read Dr. Teitelbaum's book, From Fatigued to Fantastic.

I highly recommend Dr. Teitelbaum's book, From Fatigued to Fantastic. I have the book (revised) and it basically covers medications, supplements, herbal formulas and basically.... everything from infections in fibromyalgia and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome patients to sleeping problems, thyroid problems and everthing else. Dr. Teitelbaum also mentions Prof. Garth Nicolson in his book. As many of you may already be aware... Prof. Nicolson frequently answers questions here in MedHelp, in the autoimmune diseases forum. Prof. Nicolson is an expert on the role infections play in many chronic illnesses.

I missed this and wish I had not. A naturopath recently recommended Dr.Teitelbaum's book, and I honestly felt I was reading about myself. By sheer coincidence I had started antibiotics for pneumonia and mentioned that in passing when I was in an independent pharmacy that has a lot of natural products - she asked me if I was taking a probiotic (which I was not) and we ended up in a discussion of autoimmune diseases (I have medically diagnosed FMS, IBS & CFS).  To make a long story short, I started with the probiotic and was amazed when 3-4 days later, the everyday pain in my abdomen was significantly reduced (although definitely not gone). Since then we have added (in stages) a digestive enzyme, c-ribose and acetyl-L-carnitine - I am a senior and do not expect miracles, but to date this combination has helped a lot, I have more energy, less aches and can actually have a coffee when I am out without wondering where the closest facilities are!

Thank you sooooooo much for the teleseminar with Dr. Teitlebaum.  I have been suffering since 1992 and everything he said was such a confirmation of all the things I've wondered about over all these years.  I've since done his free questionnaire and printed out the results.  When I review the Treatment Preotocol I will be revisiting which products will be most beneficial to continue and starting back again at square one by checking out the Candidiasis situation.  I hate the thought of going through that treatment again, but I'm determined to recover as much of my health as I possibly can.  Thanks for caring about us Dr. Parks.
