I delivered my first baby in June, 2009 vaginally after a very long (65 hr) and difficult labor. I had bladder overdistention and overflow incontinence for 3 days while in hospital before they caught it and drained approx. 2 liters.
I am currently at 13 weeks postpartum and having to self-catheterize for urinary retention. I was unable to urinate at all for 6 weeks.
I'm looking for other people who have been or who are in the same situation. This seems to be so very rare and it is easy to feel very alone and depressed. Please feel free to add me as a friend, and to send me a note or message.
