Today was good. I participated/volunteered for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's Out of the Darkness walk, to raise awareness and funding for research, support, etc for mental illness and families of those who have committed suicide. It was very touching and beautiful. A LOT OF PEOPLE STRUGGLE THE WAY WE DO!! So I did not feel alone. I didn't have to hide that I have BP for one day-- no one did.
Then I started to get a little down, because I felt like life wasn't working out, and then I felt OK again once I reminded myself I was trying really hard to be well, that I just have an extra layer to deal with in life, so to cut myself some slack.
