Hi Guys, So Recently I had my second miscarriage in one year (I have not had a baby before) My first miscarriage was at 7 weeks last year and that ended very fast and was yes heart breaking but I got over it and thought if I miscarry again I dont know what Ill do.. so a year later I found out was pregnant had a scan at 6w3d everything looked fine.. at 7w1d I had a scan as was bleeding and everything looked absolutely normal the sonographer was very confused only the sac was only measuring 5w3d and she didnt know any reasons as to why that could be (she was a trainee) I bled through the weekend and went back on Monday and Baby had no heart beat it had measured only a day later then my last scan, Docs wont investigate till I have had 3 consecutive miscarriages I really find this unfair I am still in pain and bleeding heavily and it has been 2 weeks. I am too scared to try again adn want to know if anyone has any tips on what they have done after consecutive miscarriages? Whether I should change anythig or take vitamins etc etc? Its not somethng I want to go through again if I can help it :)

I look forward to responses....

I am in the process right now of having my second miscarriage in a row. One in May which I was only 38 days pregnant. It was quick and didn't hurt at all. Right now I am 7 weeks pregnant, but when I went for my first scan the baby only measured 6 weeks and the heart rate was only 86 beats per minute. I started spotting the next day, went in for another scan and the heart rate was only 46 beats. I am now 4 days into this miscarriage and the pain is pretty awful. I have had previous miscarriages as their is a family history of them on my mother's side. But I do have 3 healthy children. I asked my doctor if I should have testing too since I've had 2 in a row but he said that he didn't think that was necessary.
This is what I am going to do when we try again:
My Doctor said to wait until I have 2 cycles before trying again.
Take a prenatal vitamin everyday starting before you try to conceive.
Eat healthy, go for walks and I am also going to make sure my husband as well as myself do not consume any alcohol or junk in the 2 months before we start trying. I want to know that I did everything on our end and if it happens again I can demand that tests be done. I truly sympathize with you as this is the worst thing I have ever gone through!
