By 3pm 9 DPO I would have sworn I was pregnant. As far as I was concerned the HPT I'd taken in the morning had lied or was a fake or didn't know how to do it's job properly - I was definitely pg - so I thought. The heightened sense of smell had returned, I felt nausea and my boobs ached so severely I believed there could be no other explanation.
It had been a hectic day, and by 5pm I felt quite stressed with a pounding headache. Something told me to check my BP. Hypertension issues are in the family so it wasn't difficult for me to lay my hands on a monitor. Boy oh boy! BP reading of 141/94. When I think back I realise my BP has probably been raised every afternoon for the past few days. That would explain the queasiness I'd been feeling and had believed to be pg symptoms. It would also explain why in the mornings I never felt much but by afternoon symptoms set in.
Now it is early morning 10 dpo. Again, I don't feel much at all. I did notice a little bloated feeling around the uterus area but even if I was pg I'm sure it's too early to feel anything forming there so it must be something else. I haven't given up hope about being pregnant this cycle. It's still a few days before my monthly is due. Even though it is looking increasingly unlikely on the face of things, sometimes, way deep down inside, I feel that my prayers have been answered. Anyway, I'll keep you posted.
