Had to change my Thyroid doctor

Unfortunately, after much trepidation and long thought I had to change my Endo doctor. I highly recommend that someone who has been newly diagnosed with hyper or hypo thyroidism really search for a doctor who is open, plain and forthcoming and willing to give you as much information as possible about this disease. The patient has to know what's going on with their body and the results of having this disease. I recently had a thyroidectomy and I had the issues of literally having to starve myself so that I didn't gain weight and the issues of hairloss. I haven't had the appointment with my new doctor....won't see her until January, but I still have several questions and most interested in trying a nonsynthetic medication.
