Well, we buried my father-in-law and now are in the process of settling his meager estate.
We always celebrated his birthday and Father's Day at the same time because they were close. I think that I will spend this Father's Day a bit differently. I already honored his death with about 3/4 of a bottle of Rum......it only seemed right!
I just wanted to post this note because so many of my online friends have left notes and I have basically and rudely did not reply. I haven't been to the Friday night pub for some time now.....just lots going on.
So, I'm alright now. Still in remission with my Graves and slowly gaining weight. I'm going to have to watch that!
If your parents are still alive, tell them you love them. If you have kids, tell them the same.

It's nice to hear from you and know you are doing as well as can be expected. My father's birthday is close to Father's Day, too, and I know someday June will be a much different month for me. I hope you find a nice way to spend Father's Day that can make you smile and laugh with all the good memories and ease the sadness.
