Finally Some Relief!!

I Finally have some relief from the pain in the hand and arm.After all the drs. that wanted to dope me up I went to the last one who wanted to trreat the cause and not the symptoms.After the EMG &ULTRASOUND proved that the ULNAR NERVE was beyond repair ,3 drs. agreed that the best action was to shut the nerve off.
i was put under anesthesia and had FENOL injected into the nerve and on both sides of the NEUROMA .This was guided by ultrasound to make sure that it hit exactly where it was needed.
i woke up and -I swear to God- i was able to shake hands with the dr.with the right hand! The little finger and side of the hand are totally numb for good.What a relief!! This will take 60-90 days to completely work so I may lose some more function but I dont care at this point.
There is an issue with the MEDIAN NERVE which I am going for an ultrasound on next week.Hopefully That can be taken care of.
I Really Highly recommend COMPREHENSIVE PAIN MANAGEMENT for their forward thinking and not just"heres more pills" attitude.
