10th June - Good news - well more hope

I had to see my GP today and because of my heightened anxiety they talked to my Breast Consultant who took a look at my Scan and Mammogram and said she was pretty sure my lump is a Fibroadenoma and while she can't rule out it being cancerous she would bet on it not being if she was a gambling woman - so I am VERY VERY relieved and much more hopeful of a begnin biopsy on Friday.

Oh that is great news. Sounds very positive. I'm sure the biopsy will be ok. You deserve a bit of good fortune.

Considering how many scans and mammograms your consultant has undoubtedly reviewed, her assessment is very encouraging, Helen. You can go into the biopsy somewhat calmer, certainly. We'll be praying for you and thinking of you, so do keep us posted! ~~ Paula
