A pray for everyone

I found the neatest book last night.  It is called "The Dieter's Prayer book"   by Heather Harpham Koff

I could not put the book down last night I was so spiritually blessed by the prayers.  So many of the prayers apply to my life today with out relationship to my struggle with diet.  I immeditely thought of my friends at Medhelp and wanted to share.  Now my problem is deciding which one.  Following is only one of many poems I will be sharing.  May you be blessed by this pray as much as  I was.

  A PRAYER FOR POWER

          Dear God

  I admit that often I am tempted
  to look for a shortcut--
  an easier way to get dramatic results.
  Sometimes I get so eager to see change
  that I take desperate measures
  that don't deliver.

  Today, because I can count on Your help;
  I commit to doing due diligence instead.
  Give me perseverance where I am impatient,
  grant me strength where I am weak.
  Make me desperate only for you!!
  Make me zealous to take the right steps,
  to choose the good course,
  to be an example to everyone I meet.
  Keep me from foolishness, Lord.
  Show me your way and I will walk in it.
