Had tx class, got Roche co. bag with goodies, info, journal, injection dvd
3 others in class, went over medication info, injection example, I thought stomach injections were for rabies. Went over sx, phone numbers, I guess I would figure I needed to call someone if I am vomiting blood, or yellow.
A lot of innocent cracks and jokes made by this one disabled guy, don't know if it was nerves or not. Dr. Schwartz was not amused. She said this was very serious. Lighten up, it makes the medicine go down better I thought.
Very informative, went over Viral load and labs, 1st after one week, clinic than every 2 weeks for eight weeks, than once a month. If HCV RNA is negative or 2 logs down, continue tx, if not virus is not responding, so tx will be discontinued. Signed a research ok form, took our bloodwork. Should get meds in 2 weeks, Whaaaaaaaaat!, Get poked and wait. Felt ok with info. I am sure I will have more questions.
I went to an AA meeting after Starbucks, than an NA meeting at home. Had a good walk and run with Luke, felt rejuvenated.
Now Luke has me up at 3 for some reason, no skunks though. It may be the predsnisone.
Daily reflections, I read at the AA meeting was on patience, how timely.
