Well I'm up now and I should be either. I know that the antipsychotic agent I take is activating (that is keeps a person awake, instead of being sedating like other medications) but the same is true for some common medications such as Abilify (as well as Geodon) which I believe you take. If it hasn't happenned at all before and just starting happenning though you might want to think what might keeps you or what happens when you wake up. Speak to your psychiatrist and doctor about it. If its a repeat pattern and they don't know, like I had they could do a sleep study. Its an easy and not unpleasent procedure and that could see what's going on. For me my physical disability keeps me up part of the night as well and that's what they found in the sleep study (moving around the whole night, so I had restless sleep) but often its something simple. As well when a person is manic or depressed sleep can be disrupted. You could speak to your psychiatrist and inform them and they could tell you what is going on...
