Looking forward to Root canal

I never thought I would make that statement, looking forward to a root canal.  But the pain has gotten so bad.  I worry about taking OTC pain meds given the medications I am on.  I just don't know what could happen.  I am such a control freak, I'd rather be in pain that enter the unknown.

Fearing the unknown came up in therapy this week.  I am currently in a holding pattern but on the road to being independant for the first time in my life.  It crossed my mind that most guys really have it easy.  They can walk away from a 22 year marriage and be perfectly fine.  Regardless of my planning, I will still continue to struggle but I know I will be okay.
