Had a very weird bout of feeling awful today... was at work and feeling fine.. and then a huge wave of dizziness hit and I felt lightheaded, nauseous, shaky and like I just couldn't focus on anything. Trying to just hold on until the other manager got there, I put on a sweater and re-organized the walk-in fridge (felt a bit better in the cold air). This lasted for over an hour but started to let up after I ate a ginger cookie. Since I didn't feel hungry, I don't think that this was a blood sugar issue. Once about two hours had passed and I had moved on to regular tasks, I felt perfectly fine. It was such an odd experience going from feeling so very "off" to feeling alright without really doing anything to feel bad in the first place or to feel better.
