Weird phone call (LOL!)

Phone rings today.
me: "Hello"
"Is that **** ****??"
"Yes, that's me. Who is this?"
"Miss Dragon"
me: "Ha ha ha ha ha! This is a joke. Go away"
"This is no joke"
"Oh yeah? Miss DRAGON????"
"It's NOT A JOKE. You owe the water company £56.61"
me: "Oh right....well I'll tell Sir Lancelot to come and pay it for me"
"I don't think you are taking this call seriously"
"You are SO RIGHT I'M NOT"
"We can notify the debt collection agency"
me: "Ha ha ha ha! Go away."
"Seriously....."
me: "Not falling for that one, sorry"
"....You already had a Red Reminder to pay the bill...."
Reality begins to dawn....uh-oh.....I DID TOO. How did she know that...............?
me: "Miss Dragon.....are you still there....?"

ohmygosh! This totally made my day! That's hilarious!
No joke, this actually DID happen yesterday. I wonder how many times that lady gets that response from people she calls?
LOL! Try this one on for size: My husband is in sales. He receives a call from an irate client who refuses to listen to reason and demands to speak to the Boss. Hubby says, "His name is Robin Hood, but he's out of town. Would you like to speak to his secretary Marion?" Client hangs up.

I had a women call and I asked for her full name to write down with a confirmation #. She paused and said Rosie Assman. It took all that was in me just to say thank you and hang up.
