4th week

Jun 17, 2008 07:44PM - 3 comments

Now I am starting to feel the knock down and can't get right back up again SX. It seems every afternoon around 3 I feel like I need a siesta. My kids graduated from 6th grade today and I told them I would take the day off and let them choose what to do. I had given them Season tickets to Great America Theme Park wondering how I was going to be able to take them now that I have become a vampire and can't go out in the light! I have always loved crazy rides that take you upside down. Last summer we did 7 theme parks in 10 days w/3 at Disney up and down CA. I used to really enjoy the water parks with the big slides and wave pools but how in the heck am I going to be able to do that now? I brought my kids to an indoor trampoline place that has dodge ball and foam pits. I always had a blast with them there being the only mom on the dodge ball court going after those brats that attack the smallest. Alas this time I did not sit on the couches provided I had to lie down. How sad that it is summer and I cant play like I used to. I haven't run in 5 days. It will be interesting to see if my labs show why I might be so tired. I have to take my kids for an interview at the University Prep school they are going to next year tonight. I hope I do OK and that I am able to remain perpendicular for a while.

Sorry to hear you are starting to feel somewhat overwhelmed by the fatigue.  I work and by the time I come home at 5pm I am ready for a nap.  I generally feel better after I've had an hours sleep and then I can continue on until bedtime at 10.
I don't know if it was because I had my shot on Friday night that I felt so "off" yesterday.  I kept feeling dizzy when I stood up and decided that the best course of action was to just relax in my back garden for the day.  We'll see what today brings.
All the best.
