I find the Cipro and/or Flagyl wipe me out. Whenever I've taken it in the past (usually for UTI's (urinary tract infections) which essentially started this whole saga), it's done the same thing. Maybe when the antibiotics are finished, I'll feel better. I'm still extremely fatigued and nauseous. The pain is still there just like pre-surgery (still about a seven out of ten). It's quite similar to stepping on a tack. You get the short, sharp pain. When you pull out the tack, you have a bit of relief and then a harsh aching sets in. Then it loops over and over again a couple hundred times a day. Pain for me goes like this:
10 - Childbirth
9 - Severe Migraine
8 - Broken Nose/Gallbladder Attack
7 - Gallbladder Pain (obstructed bile duct)
6 - Broken Bone
5 - Root Canal
1-4 - Varying degrees of discomfort.
The pain scale has to be different for everyone but this keeps things in perspective for me since it can always get worse. My stomach is still really distended. Tachychardia comes and goes. Maybe tomorrow will be better. I sure hope so. Have faith and believe it's going to get better. It has to get better...soon!
