Don't Know What To Do

Jun 29, 2008 02:24AM - 3 comments

I Don't Know What To Do. My Fiance Just Told Me That She Can Do Better Then Me. I Don't Know What She Means By It Cuz I Do All Sorts Of Things For Her. I Love Her, I Care About Her, I Get Her Things, I'm There For Her When She Feels Sad And Needs A Sholder To Cry On, And I Do Just About Anything She Asks Me To Do. What Else More Could She Want From Me?

You sound like a sweet, caring, fellow.  Ask her what she means exactly.  She sounds spoiled.  Does she think she is better looking than you?  Does she think she can find someone that earns more money?

I think you can find a girl who really appreciates a fellow like you.

Your fiance may have issues with her own self-esteem.  You sure don't need a girl who puts you down in order to build herself up.  The world out there and workplace do a good enough job at keeping us humble.  In a relationship you need to feel safe, and loved, needed and respected.  She may not be the right girl.

I don't know you or your fiance so I would not like to comment on what she may mean.  Relationships break up for all sorts of reasons and the hardest of all are the ones where one side is perfectly happy and the other side isn't.  My advice would be to ask her if there is something you are not doing that could be done (if you want to stay with her that is), if she cannot be any more forthcoming then you are going to have to do the hardest thing and accept and respect her decision to end the relationship.  Don't "beat yourself up", sometimes 2 people just arent meant to be together.  It takes 2 to make a relationship work so if it isn't working it isn't just down to you!  Dig down deep and you will find the strength to get through this.  (((hug)))
