I did too. When I was about your age, as a matter of fact.
It hurt a bit, as I recall but the worst part was the packing of the gauze every day. A little embarrassing that my mom couldn't stomach it, so my dad had to do it.
My dad....the softy. When the doctors did it, they managed to pack a lot of gauze in there, when I was on home treatment and my dad did it, he could only manage to get a little piece in. Awww....
It hurt like hell I'll bet before you had the surgery, right? I thought I had fallen while rollerskating and damaged my tailbone. This went on for weeks before i finally told my parents about it.
The doctor said it was common in adolescent girls, although I was the only one out of all my friends who ever got it.

WOW! I didnt know it was common. Im having lots of pain now. But they cant find the cyst. I am 15 and have taken several road trips recently. That can cause a pilonidal cyst. It is common for that to happen
