Gallbladder removal

I had gallbladder surgery removed April 2006 and suffered tortures within minutes after I ate foods such as fried, etc.   Causing me to run literally to the nearest bathroom.  I don't have that problem anylonger as long as I take one or two Emodian AD before eating.  Now I don't do this everytime but only when I go out with friends to a restaurant.  It works for me.   Please let me know  what happens, this is the only way I can feel confident eating out.  It's ashame you must turn to these alternate solution but it's better to try this and see if it's works for you. Good Luck

If you eat the proper food you will not be running to the bathroom. EAT RIGHT

nancy111100... When you say "eat right", what do you mean? I'm having the same problem as jean490 was and I would gladly eat the right foods if I knew what they were. I eat dark chocolate - is that a problem? I'm seeing that fried foods are definitely not good for me. Is iced tea a problem? How about Splenda?

I had my gallbladder removed last Monday and yesterday (Sunday) was my first experience of projectile vomiting bile. The first two days after surgery I felt great. It's been down hill ever since. I kept telling my husband I just didn't feel right, bloated, nausea, headache, achy all over and then the vomiting. I have had these symptoms before the surgery, but not as bad. I asked what difficulties or changes I would expect and they said none, no one mentioned the symptoms I'm having. I can't wait till Wed. for my follow up, my doctor and I are going to have a deep, serious discussion.
