lump in throat

I just want to thank everyone for your input.  I want you all to know it is so very appreciated.  Any other comments are welcome as I will keep you all informed, and please if anyone has anyother recomendations please dont be shy!.  Thank you I am in the process of looking into all of your comments even further.  Thank you all so much!!
Okay, also with all of your comments some of these got me thinking back to when this first began, here are some other things, about a month before the throat started, I woke up one morning, and well I don't know if any of you have ever had a nerve twitch a couple of times in your eyebrow?  Well I had a twitch like that only it was in my eyelid, and it didn't last a couple of seconds, it lasted a few days.  When I consulted my doctor he said it was stress, related to these blinding headaches I had been getting for a couple of weeks prior to called tension headaches.  All of that went away, and about a month later came this feeling in my throat, at first I thought it wass just a tightness like when you get upset, then it became so annoying like a lump in my throat, even feeling like my throat was so dry.  Well one night panic hit me when I felt like I couldn't swallow at all.  I went to the emergency room, and was there for hours, being tested for my thyriod, and a ct scan, which all came back good.  They suggested I go to my doctor for acid reflux.  The very next morning I awoke with a locked jaw!  My jaw would pop, and shift before I could half way open it.  This continued for five days or so, in which time my tongue felt swollen, my teeth were imprinted in my tongue, when I awoke.  I also brushed my tongue, and felt like I brushed it raw. This also passed given a few days.  I was simply left with this feeling in my throat.  It never goes away, it does however get worse when I raise my voice or get stressed with normal things, and yes when I eat or drink I don't really feel the lump, its when I swallow my own saliva, and yes when my tongue swoll I felt like I had way too much saliva.  Even now from time to time.  If it is Anxiety, it would make sense as I have a overwhelming fear of bad things happining.  I've had that problem since I was very young, feling as though if I didn't put things back in their proper place somthing bad would happen to my mom.(Crazy?) As the years have passed I've adapted to it or so I think?.  Also all the symptoms of Cricopharyngeal Spasm also seems so simular, and od course GERDS is still there?  So I guess what I'm getting at is does anyone have a better guess, or more able to narrow it down than me?  Still here. Me
