I just think this is stupid, would love to hear what people think about it. I work for a large corporation. A trash company to be exact. We have company e-mail which can customize to fit our personalities. For the last two years, i have had a PUN or play on words in my signature line that reads, "Talkin' TRASH like we've never talked TRASH before." Cute right? Just got a write up from my boss, who reluctantly did it only because someone, meaning a co-worker as i do not e-mail customers or clients, reported it to corporate as "offensive" and "not portraying a positive company image". RETARDED!!! This is coming from a company that prints and distributes t-shirts, mugs, mousepads, cups, calendars, etc with the logo, "Have you hugged your trashman today?" Do you think i could get them for "offending me" by suggesting that i hug a man that i do not know? haha!! I deleted the line and will not be replacing it. Just think it is kind of funny how literal people take things these days. Are we really coming to a day where a quality play on words is no longer appreciated?? Sad, very sad.
