Cancer Center called to set up the next round of sons CT scans

Ohhhh I swear three months flies buy .So here we are two weeks away from the next set of scans .Last month one of our friends that was like a grandfather to my son passed away of cancer .This really shook my son up ,he started crying that he would die too .I tried to explain how well he is doing and that not all cancers are the same,but really how much of that can a 10 year old really understand . So here we go again it feels great right after they tell us the scan are clear but about a month before the next set everyone starts to worry and wonder is it going to be clean this time ...
Oh Avis I am so sorry that you and your son have to go though all this....I went though it with my mom so i can kinda understand but still cant imagine it being your child..You are on strong women and i admire you greatly!! I will be saying many prayers for your son and you.

Avisg,I'm so sorry your family has to deal with this.We had a cancer scare with my youngest son last year,his regular doctor was concerned with some of his lab results after some blood work and referred us to an oncologist.I can still remember the feeling waiting for that appointment to get here and then waiting for the results.I will keep your family a constant in my prayers.Much love. Thank you !!!! Really I am lucky C has been healthy for a year and a half some of these kids dont even live a year and a half .It brakes my heart I try not to cry everytime I am there but its sooooooo hard ....
