I met my niece Kirsty for lunch today at Nandos. Linkin (her son) is 6 months now, and such a big boy!
Kirsty was asking me if I am planning on having a baby shower, and when I said no she was horrified! Kirsty had been planning on asking me if she could throw mine for me, and I of course, said yes!!!
Yay! I get to have a shower!!
So we went shopping for clipboards for the shower and other assorted things, and it came up that she is thinking of going back to work. Only she isn't ready to leave Linkin in daycare yet...
So now I am having Linkin on Thursdays from 10am-4pm from now on! It is so exciting! He is such a good baby, and I feel silly saying this but- I am even looking forward to changing his nappies. I get to practice having a baby again, and Anna gets to practice being a 'big sister'!! Well, almost. :)
So it was an exciting day all round. And then DH got home 5 mins after I did! (2 hours early)
