New Job!

I start a new job on Monday! :-)  Although there are a few things I don't like about it...  (1)It's through a Temporary service which isn't a bad thing but I'd rather have got the job on my own.  (2) It's a Temp-to-hire position which means everything could be absolutely fine with all the expectations right up to the moment they tell me not to come back. I.E. it's easier and cheaper to have a high turn over.  (3) The day starts at 7:am.  My hobby keeps me up late at night, this means I have to get rid of all my pleasures :-(

  The good thing is that I start at $1 less/hour than the job I left and it'll get me back into something I did just over 25 years ago.

Spent a week training with 11 others. Unfortunately, and understandably, the standards were higher than we could achieve. So, most if not all of us were let go.  Oh well, Unemployment is still available and when that runs out, if I haven't found a job by then, Welfare :-(  Damned Oboma and Demarcates!
