I had my glucose tolerance test.  The drink wasn't that bad.  It tasted like flat orange soda.  I felt horribly sick from drinking it.  My heart was beating rapidly and I broke out in a cold sweat.  This is what happens to me every time I eat or drink anything with lots of sugar.  The perinatologist suggested that I do another type of test to decrease my chances of getting sick, but my OB felt that I could handle it.  Thanks a lot lol.  I did meet with my OB before my blood was drawn for the test.  He measured my fundal height and checked my baby's heartbeat, a strong 150 bpm.

Otherwise, the visit was pretty routine.  I was scheduled for my February visit and sent on my way.

To Chloë:

Even though I felt really crappy, I know that it's for the best, so that you will be as healthy as possible when you're ready to meet me in person.  I love you very much and I'll be seeing you in 3D soon :)

Love,
Mommy
