MRSA

I am being treated with two oral medications as well as a topical ointment for M.R.S.A. and have been extremely sick to my stomach and the other end since the 3rd day on this medicine. I am taking Bactrim DS (double-strength) and Rifampin. I called the doctor on call today, because I cannot miss another day of work, but can barely manage to stay out of bed. He took me off the Bactrim DS, but left me on the Rifampin. When you read on the drug reaction page, it seems like I have the Rifampin side effects, but I will see how it goes, if not better tomorrow. FORGET IT. I am living on Prayer, Phenagren oral and suppositories and Vistaril.  

Has anyone here been on this drug combo?
