Trouble Sleeping

Last night I kept waking up with my arms tingling, numb and full of pins and needles.  They were so numb at times that my fingers curled in as if paralyzed.  Right now I can feel the tingles going down my shoulders into the back of my arms and into my pinky and ring fingers on my left side and into the back of my thumb and index finger on my right.  This is taking forever to type.  The last time I had this symtom to this extent was 4 years ago after the birth of my daughter.  At the time my Mom said it was the weight of my chest pulling down my bra straps and cutting off circulation.   But I was sleeping and I am not nursing right now.   It is just happening.  I just want to crawl into bed the rest of the day and hide.  But....there is too much to do.   I thought I was depressed because of my frustration with the illness.   However, maybe the illness is causeing the drepression.. I suppose I should tell my Dr. but, he already acts like I'm exagerating things.   ARGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

I am much older than the rest of you but I have had a few times of numbness that occurs out of the blue. I was grinding coffee at Costco in January and I was holding onto the bag as it was jiggling and they went numb but I also felt light headed too.  Both arms went weak and numb as soon as I left the store and got out to fresh air I was fine again.  Then just this week it happened again, this time I didn't feel light headed but the arms went weak and numb like when you hit your funny bone but the entire both arms feel like that but not the pain associated with hitting your funny bone. It goes from my shoulders down to my fingers and it takes about 10 minutes for it to go away. This time all I did was stand up to do something quick and it happened.  I thought maybe I was having a heart attack but I was not breathless, or did I have chest/jaw pain or any other symptom of having a heart attack.  Then I thought it might be my neck pinching nerves causing something like this to happen. But for both arms to go numb at the same time is weird.  I am going to tell my doc next week about it, I actually forgot about it last week when I went in for my physical, dumb me...

I woke up this morning and both my shoulders were numb. It was if they had went to sleep . I did sleep on my side, but my arms have felt like noodles all day. I am 41 tomorrow and have not been to a doctor in a few years. I thought that maby my potassium was low cause I had bad diareah a few days ago. That usually causes pain. But the numbness is what is concerning. If it continues through tomorrow , I think I will go to the doctor. Life is hard enogh without having to worry about dropping dead from a heart attack. Hope all you guyes are just having benign symptems.
