Cat Scan

Jul 06, 2008 10:57PM - 0 comments

Because I work in the cardiology field I understand most of the Medical lingo but when it relates to something my own doctor cannot give me any direction, it concerns me.
My recent Ct scan show obvious kidney stones on the left kidney/
The following : some scattered subcentimeter lymph nodes identified withi the periaortic and aortocavl region which may suggest an underlying primary or secondary lymphoproliferative process.Normal appearance to the large bowel mesentery and small bowe.
There is a hazy groundglass density throughout the visualized small bowel mesentery which is non specific, although can be appreciated in a primary or secondary underlying lymphoproliferative process. there are few small bowel mesentary nodes identified in that are subcentimeter in size.
.
repeats for impression but also states that it is nonspecific but concerning for an underlying or secondary lymphoproliferative process.
there is a mild liver and spleen enlargement.
I have a past History of Sarcoidosis in 1998 with repeated hisotry of bilaterla kidney stones. I have been suffering with pain in my chest for months and now pain in my lower back. Can anyone give me any insight as to what is going on ?
