TTC, year 2

Looks like scar tissue was the cause of my infertility.  I wish I did not wait for 2 years to have the surgery.  We are trying to proceed from here....

How did they determine it was scar tissue? Was that something that shows up on HSG test or did they do some other test to find out?

certain things, like endometriosis and scar tissue can only be diagnosed by going through a surgery, laparoscopy.  My doc was actually looking for endo and found scar tissue.  Scar tissue grows around scars.  If you have no surgical scars it's not a problem for you.

Thanks helen. I had no idea. I have never had any surgery so I am going to guess I have no scar tissues. Its good that they found yours though, its another thing your more informed about:) I think the more information you have on your body and whats causing the issues is better. Knowledge is power in other words.
