Head to Toe:
I have Tramatic Brain Injury (TBI) from repeated blows to the head while deployed.  I have memory loss, trouble puting words together, I get lost going places I should know,  I forget so much.
I have two different kinds of headaches: One is a constant dull headache that is with me 24/7.  The second are really bad ones I get every couple of days.  They are dabilitating and usually start in the back of my head and move to a spot on either side of my head or under the brow.  I do not and never have had alergies.
I have a constant ringing in my ears but no loss of hearing.  I was told I have some inner ear problems that cause me to get sick when in an elivator or spinning or moving to fast.
I have cronic neck pain but nothing showed on x-rays or MRI's which has been attributed to having my neck wiped around so much.
I have cronic right shoulder pain but once again nothing shows on x-ray or MRI.  I was using the benchpress during one of my workouts and heard a loud pop.  I was unable to use my arm for several days and when I went to the medics they gave me Motrin.  I have had cortazone injections which last a day or two.  It causes pain down my arm to the elbow and sometimes it feels as if electricity is shooting out the top of my hand.  I also have a sickly sucking sound when I rotate my shoulder and loose feeling in both hands often.  Somedays are so bad I cannot even move my arm.
I ruptured my S1 thru L5 disks which causes your usual back problems.  I cannot stand, sit, walk, run or lay down to long.  The pain shoots to my feet down both legs.
I have cronic hit pain usually right side that causes me to limp pretty bad.  I was thrown against a wall from an explosin and have had problems with it ever since.
Bad knees.  I contribute this to my lifestyle, jumping out of planes, road marches 7-100 miles, running 5 miles a day.  I tore the ligaments on the outside of me knees but it did not require surgery.
All in all I think I am pretty lucky I have not had any surgeries, still have all my limbs and am home.
I did post a new things I am a bit worried about I have this pulsing in my body and causing me to get dizzy and makes it difficult to focus sometimes.
I have an appointment with the VA docs the first week of March so we will see how it goes.

Hi, sorry to hear about that.
Some of what you say hit home.  I have got a concussion from a seizure I had last week.  I have had repeated blows to the head also.  I have had staples in my head about 3 different times and one time they glued by my ear, because they couldn't staple it there.  Today, my forearms have felt really weighted down after writing a bit.  Not sure what would cause that.  I have an appointment for a follow-up tomorrow.  I was at the hospital a few days after the blow to the head and had a drop seizure there.  I never started having the drop ones until 10 or 11 years ago after I got the vns implant.  I used to have only the complex-partial and the petit mal seizures.  My short-term memory isn't very good anymore, so I can't remember things to well.  Right now my forearms and above my wrist feel like weights are on them so have to stop typing for a bit.
