Ear infection

This is the approximate date this "episode began."  I believed it to be an abscessed cavity in my bottom far right molar.  OR  my long over due wisdom teeth pushing through.  I have been having mild on and off again bouts that I related to mid life teething!  I chalked it up to wisdom teeth.  This time however it was anything but mild.  I begged for any pain killer I could find from friends.  I went through a tube of jell and a bottle of liquid tooth numbing agents..  It barely took the edge off.  Week 1 was jaw and gum pain.  I searched my mouth for an abbess but could locate no sores inside or outside of my mouth or surrounding areas.  The screaming tooth ache lasted a week.  I took a full course of Amoxicillin.  500mg twice daily for 9 days.  It did nothing to alleviate the tooth ache or reduce my "abscess." Mid week the glans on both sides of my neck began to swell.  My right side much more so than my left.  By the end of the week The pain (still in my mouth)  had expanded into what I believed (felt like it) to be a middle ear infection.  For 3-4 days I suffered with both pains.  I should note -for sometime now it feels "tight"  when I try and open my jaw widely.  Not painful (until the jaw and ear aches)  just a bit stiff.  Its been this way for at least a year that I can remember.  I used to sleep walk and clench my jaw as a child.  However I outgrew both of theses things and have had no sleep issues.  Except I snore and drool.  I recently had a sleep test and it was determined that was all it was.  I have a life long history of bad allergies.  As a child I received allergy shots in my nose.  I had ear infections and surgery to remove something the size of a cherry pit from my ear.
