10 weeks, 1 day. - A package from Evelyn

I have the bestest friend, and her name is Evelyn!

Today I got a 'pregnancy package' in the mail from her. This is especially exciting for me as she lives in Germany.

I am assuming this is her way of cheering me up (been a bit down about my weight lately) and keeping me busy and happy until the baby comes..

My surprise pack included- The entire season 3 of DS9 (I'm running out of Stargate to watch), my favourite german chocolates (they have chewy caramel inside), colouring in pictures for the kids from an awesome german cartoon, a baby suit (for the little one to come), 2 books that Ev has read and enjoyed, and a pack that allows me to make tattoos for the children!

I am so lucky to have such a considerate friend. I just wish she was in the same country as me so that I could give her a hug!

wow, I cant believe how soon that got to you!!

and you pretty much summed it up - just wanted to make sure you and your "little sh*ts' are busy and happy until the baby comes.

oh, and by the way - you wanted that cake recipe, and the reason that I didn't write it down for you straight away, is that is has an ingredient that you cant buy (at least I think you cant) over there (it is a kind of gelatine, and I don't know how much normal gelatine it would equate to). But seeing as the post is so quick, I will just send you some over. I will get the recipe in my lunch hour later on today, and write it out for you, and also post the gelatine.
