These Journals are helpful

Jul 09, 2008 05:52PM - 5 comments

I am finding these journals to be really helpful because you can see just how far you've come and when you have difficulties again its nice to look back and see the progress.  So.. its been almost a month since my last confession....  I am so fortunate, and grateful.  My blood count is way up there.  I am hoping everything is good with that, I do need to check with the hematologist to make sure that going in overdrive the other direction is ok, but I'm sure as long as I'm not too wonky in the other direction (dangerously high rbc counts or something) that its ok, and boy do I feel better.  Having been tired due to having anemia for twenty years, it is really an amazing feeling to have so much energy.  My head hurts a lot more lately though and I think when my blood count comes down some it will be a little better.  My energy started returning around the 20th of last month or so.

I was tachy with high bp today, probably due to taking compro, which I won't be taking again.  My doctor said he really doesnt like compazine or regelin and warned me off of both of those.  Good to know.

My son is here for a few weeks, and it has been so nice having him.  He will be returning soon, and I plan to visit Texas for a while also.

i know, its just so hard to believe you are ever going to feel good / have energy again when you feel so pukey. ;)

Yeah - but what's REALLY cool --- even IF you are feeling pukey --- is that you can read just how pukier you USED to feel when you started writing the first journal pages --- and though you're feeling pukey now --- the next journal entry you'll be feeling a smidgen better..

And the proof will be in front of your eyes.

Hugs babe!

Thats definitely true.  And you wouldnt notice it as much for sure without the journals.  Its kind of helpful looking forward too when you've made progress looking back.  Did that sentence make any sense at all?  lol oh well.  You know what I mean. ;)
