Severely deficient

I have severe iron deficient anemia and will be getting a transfusion tomorrow.  I'm very upset that the cause is still not known.  My Hemoglobin continues to drop every week; it's now at 6.6 and my Hematocrit is 21.1  The Ferritin level hasn't been checked lately but about a month ago it was 2 and the total iron was 8.

I had scopes done on my stomach and lower intestines two days and no bleeding was found.  WHAT besides bleeding can cause the levels to continue to drop?  It's 4am and I've been up since 2:30.....I can't sleep with this on my mind.....
