week 24 and 26 VLs

PCRs taken 6/19 and 7/3 both resulted in "<10 but detected". I heard the week 26 result today from the np - I'll talk next week with the doc. I'm stomping on this damn dragon's neck but he's managing to keep breathing...
I ran out of Alinia on 7/9 and the doc said not to renew. Since Romark's assistance program wasn't very generous (have to apply each time for a 2-week supply, and it took them several days to send the pills) I would have had to pay out of pocket to continue. Because the Alinia didn't really do the trick for me and because it's over $18 for one pill (!!!!) , we decided it was OK to stop.
Finally took some Nystatin for the thrush, which worked. I was prescribed famciclovir for the sore on the lip - I took it for 3 weeks and it seemed to get better, but then I stopped and it got a lot worse. Started the famciclovir again and it doesn't seem to be doing anything. Had a biopsy of the sore taken on 7/8 (now THAT was fun) and should hear the results next week.
Hg is down to 9.8 - expect to receive Procrit tomorrow for 1st shot.
