I have had chronic pain for aproxmatley 2-4 years. Had been to several doctors. No one could find an answer. After spending way too much $$ and time on things that didn't work or there was no answer, I stopped looking I continued to see my family doctor who continued to treat my chronic pain with opiods. I had heard something about a pain center in neraby Omaha, Nebraska at the Nebraska Medical Center-Pain Management Program. I just finished the program-it took 4 weeks. It is very educational, they provide a nurse pain psychologists and unconventional physical. I would highly recommend this. However, my taper of methodone stopped the 3rd day ogf my last week and then the fun began(just kidding). Withdrawl has been awfful!!!!!!!. I did nothing but stay in my room for the first 2 days and cry my eyes out. I am still feeling so awfull!! Very jittery inside, my legs ache, don't feel like eating or drinking, and am not sleeping well. Fun, HUH........I know in the long run I can manage my pain differently thru relaxation and pacing stategies I learned while in the pain program.WITHDRAWL *****!!!!!!! I FEEL SO PHYISCALLLY & EMOTIONALLY BAD....I CAN'T STAND IT!!!!! IWANT MY ENERGY BACK! i WANT MY LIFE BACK!!
waiting for the storm to pass
