1st prenatal appt

today was my first prenatal appt and the doc confirmed my preg...im still waiting on my bloodwork results but he said i had a strong positive on the urine test

he checked my cervix and said it was high and closed so that was good and my uterus is still small indicating im not far along at all

my next appt is set for jan 14 (when ill be 9weeks) and that is only with a practioner to discuss my preg and get a background...then ill have to wait 4 more  weeks to hear the heartbeat...i think im going to look into a different doctor

as for symptoms...my bbs are still tender and im craving spicy foods and cheese (melted)

4 weeks (12/18) HCG level - 303
4 weeks 2 days (12/20) HCG level - 689

lol   all normal there.  With any pregnancies it is expected that breast would become sore, but i would think that it would take affect that soon in the pregnancy. Well goes to show you I don't know everything!  lol    but with other sympotms you might experience  light headedness and shortness of breath ( that's the baby pushing up against your diaphram ) other experiences would include stomach queziness   good luck with that  ( eat saltines )  you'll probalby get moody and tired  and you might want to look for bigger pants too  even if it's one size higher   during a pregnancy you don't haveto get a round belly  this one i heard of didn't even know that she was preg until she was in the ER giving brith   that would be scary   but that's all I have to say   and CONGRATS
