Dragonflies

I was over at my friends house and saw a picture of a dragonfly on her fridge. I asked her who took the picture and where at. She had taken it out in her back yard on the rose bush.  She said that they started appearing after she had lost Rougan and that she likes to think it's Rougans way of saying hi to her.  

I then started to think about this.  For the last two months I have noticed dragonflies flying around my yard. I have lived in this house for 6 years and never seen them around before.  So now when I see one I think of Mailynn and I say a little blessing.  

Last year I got a tattoo of a hibiscus flower and dragonfly on the top of my right foot. To remind me of the beauty of life. When I spent time in hawaii I was amazed at the beauty everywhere. The hibiscus flower reminds me of the peace and beauty I felt while there.   I like to think this is Mailynn's way of telling me to find happiness and peace again.  

When I see the dragonflies I stop what I'm doing and watch them I feel peaceful and smile.
